“I’d like to solve the puzzle, Ryan!” Celebrity Wheel of Fortune is coming back for Season 6 and your favorite celebrities are going to be spinning to win later this month. If you watched any of the previous five seasons, then you know that it’s going to be one hilariously puzzling ride. Below, we have everything you need to know about the upcoming season, including a refresher on how this special game works and when you can expect to watch it. Spin on for more!

What to know about ‘Celebrity Wheel of Fortune’ Season 6

Celebrity Wheel of Fortune Season 6 was officially announced earlier this year, but it came with one major change. In previous seasons, Pat Sajak has hosted the competition show alongside Vanna White. In Season 6, though, Sajak’s role will be taken over by Ryan Secreast, as it had on the regular Wheel of Fortune after he retired in June 2024.

“I have a lot of fun with the job, but I take the responsibility very seriously. We all have memories of watching Wheel with our families. I mowed lawns growing up in Atlanta just to save money to buy a Zenith TV for the kitchen so we could watch Wheel during dinner,” Secreast told The Hollywood Reporter in June of this year. “There were conversations—actually, years ago—about me doing this show, and I expressed interest even back then. When you look at what Pat and Vanna have built over the years … they are your friends. What they’ve established is special, so that’s why I said yes.”

Aside from episode one, which will feature Jenna Johnson Chmerkovskiy, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli from Dancing with the Stars, there haven’t yet been any other celebrities announced as part of the Season 6 cast. In the past the show has chosen a mix of actors, actresses, musicians, athletes, social media personalities and more.

How does ‘Celebrity Wheel of Fortune’ work?

Celebrity Wheel of Fortune works the exact same way as regular Wheel of Fortune, except for the fact that instead of playing for money, the contestant gives their earnings to a charity of their choice. They can win up to $1 million and all they have to do is spin the wheel and solve the puzzle.

Who was on ‘Celebrity Wheel of Fortune’ Season 5?

Several celebrities including Josh Gad, Regina Hall, Jessica Capshaw Renée Elise Goldsberry, Bernadette Peters and Jesse Tyler Ferguson were on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune Season 5.

“Listen, when you’re at home on the comfort of your own couch, it looks really easy!” Ferguson told Jimmy Fallon earlier this year, before sharing that while he might have messed up a Hamilton puzzle, he didn’t feel bad about it. “The thing is, Renée Elise Goldsberry, who was in Angelica in the original production of Hamilton, who won a Tony Award for it, was also on that panel—and realized she had not gotten the clue and she was killing herself.”

Season 5 Celebrity Wheel of Fortune also had an episode centered around the show The Office, and featured three of the show’s stars, Rainn Wilson, Ellie Kemper and Oscar Nuñez.

“From the time you walked in until now, I had three women independently come up to me and say, ‘Oscar’s here. The Proposal, he was great in The Proposal.’ That was a terrific movie, and that was a great part,” Sajak told Nuñez during the episode
