What we know so far about ‘Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage’ Season 3

Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage takes place after Young Sheldon but before Big Bang Theory. It follows Georgie Cooper (Montana Jordan) and Mandy McAllister (Emily Osment) as they deal with parenting, being newlyweds and coping with the normal ebbs and flows of everyday life.

“They [Georgie and Mandy] really love each other. There’s no doubt about that,” Osment told Us Weekly in April 2026. “And I think it’s pretty clear that they have really great chemistry, and you want them to work. We’re all hoping that the first marriage is the same to people as the second and third [marriage]. Just personally, I hope it takes them a really long time to get there. Hence the title, everybody knows that that’s coming at some point—and it keeps people watching a little longer.”

Currently, the show is in its second season, which makes it harder to predict what Season 3 will deal with. It will definitely be about Georgie and Mandy—no surprise there—but it’s unclear if they will be married, separated or divorced, since there hasn’t been a Season 2 finale yet.

“It’s incredible,” Jordan told Gold Derby of the show in May 2025. “At the end of Young Sheldon, Georgie had just lost his father and now he’s got a newborn. There’s a lot of struggle, but that’s what’s great about it. It’s very relatable and there’s a lot of young parents around the world that are going through the same thing. We just hope that it can help somebody out in this world get through what they’re getting through.”

‘Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage’ Season 3 cast

Jordan and Osment will most likely return for Season 3. Also most likely reprising their roles? Raegan Revord, Rachel Bay Jones, Zoe Perry and Will Sasso. It’s unclear if Iain Armitage—who played Sheldon in Young Sheldon—will appear on the show for the first time.

“[Armitage returning] would be so much fun, but if they’re sticking to the Big Bang Theory lore, Georgie and Sheldon don’t talk, because they kind of have a rift between them after [their father] George dies,” Revord shared in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight. “And so, if they’re sticking to that, I feel like it wouldn’t make sense for Sheldon to come back. But who knows?” Maybe they’ll find a loophole. They have found loopholes before. Maybe they’ll find one again.”

‘Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage’ Season 3 release date

There’s no official release date yet for Season 3 of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, but given the show’s momentum, it’s clearly only a matter of time.

“I think my favorite part about the marriage between these two people is that they genuinely really like each other. I mean, they love each other, but they really like each other, too” Osment told Variety in May 2025. “I love the way that they fight, and I love that they say exactly how they’re feeling and what they mean, and they usually get to the bottom of an argument quicker that way.”

“I am always interested to see Georgie’s transformation as well, because his character on the show has been through a lot—he lost his dad, he’s now running the tire shop, he’s got a baby, he wants another baby, he’s becoming a man,” she continued. “It’s also very synonymous with Montana himself, who has a baby and is getting married this summer. I’m watching this other person become a man, too, so I think it’s easy for them to pull from his life and for him to play that role because it’s him.”
