‘MobLand’ Season 1 recap

The first season of MobLand introduced Harry Da Souza, brought to life expertly by Tom Hardy. A fixer for the crime family led by Conrad and Maeve Harrigan, Harry finds himself up against a series of new and unexpected threats to the family when they become the target of the Stevenson crew. As the series progresses, it’s revealed that there is a rat amongst the Harrigans, feeding information to the Stevensons and complicating matters further. As for Harry, his personal life takes a hit as his work comes to gravely affect his relationship with his wife and daughter. 

‘MobLand’ Season 2 promises more drama

At the end of the first season, the Stevensons are no longer a threat to the Harrigans, but that doesn’t mean they’re at the top of their game after the events that took place. Consisting of 10 episodes, Season 2 will see the rise of rivals to the family, forcing the Harrigans—and Harry—to give it their all to stay unified, despite tensions rising amongst them. As the near-constant power struggle continues, there’s sure to be violent confrontations and loyalties tested. 

‘MobLand’ Season 2 cast

The second season of MobLand will be led once again by Tom Hardy, who is joined by Helen Mirren as Maeve and Pierce Brosnan as Conrad. Returning in the role of Kevin, Maeve and Conrad’s son who’s seeking to stake his claim in the family empire, is Paddy Considine, with Lara Pulver returning as his wife, Bella. Joanne Froggatt will also be back, as Harry’s wife. Anson Boon will continue his run as Eddie Harrigan, who was revealed to be Conrad’s biological son in Season 1.

Season 2 will also star Janet McTeer, Jasmine Jobson, Mandeep Dhillon, Teddie Allen, Emmett J. Scanlan, Toby Jones, Johnny Flynn and Ophelia Lovibond.
