In Paris Is Always a Good Idea, Lacey Chabert brings to life Chelsea Martin, who has excelled in her career over the years. When her job takes her to Paris alongside her colleague Jason, she receives an unexpected message from her late mother. With her mom’s words and encouragement from her family, Chelsea embarks on an unexpected journey throughout Paris, Spain and Ireland, seeking out three former romantic connections she made while in Europe years prior. As she pursues these love affairs from her past, a new chapter begins.

Meet the ‘Paris Is Always a Good Idea’ cast (including Henry Czerny!)
Alongside Lacey Chabert is a cast that’s sure to impress. Playing the part of her coworker Jason is Scott Michael Foster. Bringing Chelsea’s father to life is none other than Henry Czerny, 67, while her sister is portrayed by Rebecca Hanssen. Also joining the cast are Stephen Hagan, who previously starred in Hallmark’s Love of the Irish (2025), Julien Marlon Samani, who appeared in the 2025 Hallmark film An Alpine Holiday, and Alejandro Albarracín.
When to watch Lacey Chabert’s new Hallmark series
Paris Is Always a Good Idea premieres on July 30 on Hallmark+ with two episodes debuting. A new episode will then air each week until August 27.
