Peanut butter and chocolate sandwich cookies are a combination fans have been eager to get their hands on for years, and Reese’s and Oreo have finally paid attention. The brands are officially pulling together to create two new products that’ll be the stars of grocery store shelves everywhere.

Mondelez International, Oreo’s parent company and The Hershey Company, which owns Reese’s, are bringing their strengths together to create two new products: limited edition Oreo Reese’s Cookies and the Reese’s Oreo Cup. 

The rumors are true,” the press release began. “The Reese’s and Oreo brands are answering fans’ call to collab and unite their iconic flavors with not one, but two new products for fans to enjoy… The devoted brand fans have been asking for this flavor mashup – mixing and stacking the two flavors together in all kinds of creative and delicious ways. Always committed to delivering bold, exciting snacking experiences, the Oreo brand and Reese’s brand knew this request was simply too good to ignore.”

Now to the good stuff: the delectable new products. The Oreo Reese’s Cookie has been one of the most requested collaborations and now it’s here in all of its peanut buttery-chocolate glory. The sweet treat features an original chocolate sandwich cookie filled with smooth Reese’s peanut butter and Oreo crumbs.

Meanwhile, the Reese’s Oreo Cup is the candy you never saw coming. This new product brings together a classic milk chocolate peanut butter cup and a white creme peanut butter cup, mixed with Oreo cookie crumbs. You definitely won’t want to miss this. 

When can you buy the new Reese’s Oreo products?

Both products will be available for presale starting on August 18, but you can sign up for early presale for both the Reese’s Oreo Cups and the Oreo Reese’s Cookies on their respective websites.

The two treats will hit shelves nationwide beginning in September; however, the Oreo Reese’s Cookies will only be available while supplies last. But don’t worry, they’ll be returning for good in January 2026. The Reese’s Oreo Cups will be here to stay and available in King Size, Standard Size and Miniature Cups.
