National Lemonade Day has been an American staple for a while. It used to be in May, but has since moved to August to coincide with the summer heat and back-to-school season. If you want to get in on sweet drink day, then we recommend stopping by one of the places below, all of which are doing some sort of giveaway.

Corner Bakery Cafe

If you live near a Corner Bakery Cafe, then be sure to stop by because today they are letting everyone buy a regular-sized lemonade for only $2. They will also be giving $1 from each sale to the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, which is a nonprofit organization that decided to research children’s cancer.

“Giving back is core to who we are at Corner Bakery, and National Lemonade Day presents the perfect opportunity to pair something bright and cheerful with a cause that truly matters,” Erin Hasselger, the president of Corner Bakery, said in a statement. “By offering our signature lemonades at a special price and donating a dollar from each to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, we’re able to serve both our community and families in need. It’s a small effort that we hope brings real warmth—and support—where it’s needed most.”

Chick-Fil-A

While Chick-fil-A itself hasn’t officially announced any National Lemonade Days, several different branches of the beloved fast food chicken chain have shared that they will be giving away free medium lemonade to anyone who does a mobile drive-through order. Just be sure to check that whatever store you live near is doing this deal before you stop by.

Charley’s Cheesesteaks

If you stop by any Charley’s Cheesesteaks today, be sure to ask for your free lemonade! The store is giving them away to anyone who buys anything, and to make matters even sweeter, you can even switch up the flavors and get their real fruit lemonades if lemon isn’t for you.

Salad & Go

Salad and lemonade?! Count us in! After purchasing something at Salad & Go, you are eligible for a free lemonade today only, both in stores and online—just use the code LemonadeDay. The restaurant has five different flavors of the beloved summer sip, but warns that their frozen strawberry lemonade and teas are not included in this deal.

If you don’t live near any of these restaurants, but still want to celebrate, don’t worry! There’s plenty of delicious lemonade to be sipped at other chains, even if they’re not participating in the day. We recommend Raising Cane’s, Starbucks, Wendy’s, McAlister’s Deli, Panera or Dunkin’ Donuts for sweet versions of the lemon drink. You can also always make your own at home with this quick recipe for strawberry lemonade from the Woman’s World archives.

Happy sipping!
