This just might be the most adorable thing we’ve ever heard! While on a royal tour of Helsinki, Finland on Thursday, November 30, Prince William, 35, hand-delivered his four-year-old son Prince George’s adorable Christmas list to Santa Claus. Not only did George handwrite the note himself, but there was only one very special item on his wish list this year. Watch the video below to see what George asked Santa for in his sweet handwriting!
During the outing, William spotted Santa — or “Father Christmas” as he’s called in Europe! — and just had to give him little George’s simple request. “I’ve seen you and I had to give you this letter,” William told Santa, according to People. “[My son] hasn’t written down many requests, so I think one request is probably okay.” The proud father-of-two also confirmed that his boy has definitely been “nice” this year and not naughty! Although he didn’t ask for any new Legos for Christmas, William recently revealed the cute construction toys are George’s favorite toy. No word yet on what his little sister, Princess Charlotte, wants from Santa Claus, but we do know the two-year-old loves teddy bears!
William’s chat with Santa isn’t the first time the royal and his wife, Kate Middleton, have revealed cute facts about their kids’ interests. During another recent royal event, William confessed George “quite likes” The Lion King! “We’ve watched that a few times,” he said. We also know that George’s favorite TV show is Fireman Sam and Charlotte loves watching Peppa Pig.
Although William, Kate, George, and Charlotte will be celebrating this Christmas as a family-of-four, they’ll have a new addition to their royal family come April 2018! William and Kate, also 35, announced in early September that they are expecting their third child — and George and Charlotte can’t wait to meet their little sibling! “They rub their mum’s tummy and talk to the new baby,” a family friend revealed. “George and Charlotte really are both lovely, normal kids.”
