Human actors dressed in animal makeup and garb? Nope, you didn’t dream that one up! Zoobilee Zoo took us on countless adventures from 1986 to 1988 with a cast of characters including Mayor Ben, Lookout Bear, Bravo Fox and more.

The Wuzzles

This adorable animation series from 1985 was a Disney production that featured a cast of characters that were each a combination of two animals. For example, Bumbleion was—you guessed it—half bumblebee, half lion. Eleroo was half elephant, half kangaroo, Butterbear was half butterfly, half bear, and the list continues. Life on the Isle of Wuz was nothing short of mystical!
