At the forefront of this series is the stoic, dependable Staten Kirkland, played by Josh Duhamel. With an approach to running his Double K Ranch that’s rooted in tradition, this loyal cowboy will do what he can to prevent outside forces from encroaching on the way of life he’s grown to know. 

Minka Kelly as Quinn O’Grady

Minka Kelly also stars as Quinn. This concert pianist has returned from New York and is hoping to forge a new path for herself in Ransom Canyon. Additionally, Quinn is a lavender farmer and owns the local dance hall—and she also happens to have two hunky cowboys, Staten and Davis, vying for her affections. 

James Brolin as Cap

The owner of Fuller Ranch, Cap’s once booming establishment has crumbled from its peak days since the death of his son in Afghanistan as he continues to manage his grief however he can.

Schumacher portrays Yancy Grey, Fuller Ranch’s new foreman who has a mysterious past he prefers would stay hidden.

Ellie is one of Cap’s closest allies, as she keeps an eye out for the grieving cowboy. Ambitious and determined to leave a mark on her small town, nothing can stand in her way.

Eoin Macken portrays Davis Collins, who owns the Bar W Ranch. This Ivy League-educated cowboy has a more modern approach that differs from his rival Staten, and his ambitions for the future of his ranch are just one of the many things he and Staten will go head to head on.

Garrett Wareing as Lucas Russell

Football star Reid Collins is known by most for his extreme confidence and borderline cocky demeanor, but underneath this persona is someone far more emotional with something he’s hiding.

Jennifer Ens will also be joining the cast as Ashley, Casey W. Johnson will star as Kit Russell, Jaren Robledo will play Jack Yellowbird, Brett Cullen will play Senator Sam Kirkland, with Niko Guardado joining as Tim O’Grady and Kate Burton as Katherine Bullock. Additionally, Philip Winchester will star as Sheriff Dan Brigman, with Kenneth Miller as Freddie and Justin Johnson Cortez as Kai.
