Mike McLusky, played by Jeremy Renner, serves to bridge the gap between those locked inside and those outside of its walls—including everyone from politicians to criminals. With the show’s fourth season approaching, premiering on Paramount+ on October 26, it’s safe to say much has changed since the show’s debut. At the end of the third season, viewers saw major threats eliminated, but those openings in control mean there are sharks in the water looking to fill them. Jeremy Renner as Mike McLusky
Jeremy Renner continues to lead this Paramount+ series as Mike McLusky, and if it wasn’t made clear enough over the last three seasons, this complex character has quite a bit on his plate. In the upcoming fourth season, he will go up against those looking to fill the power vacuum in Kingstown, while also going head-to-head with a new warden who isn’t so quick to bend the knee to him.
Edie Falco as Nina Hobbs
Edie Falco, known by most for her role in The Sopranos, joins season 4 as Nina Hobbs, the new, no-nonsense, “headstrong” warden who quickly establishes she isn’t going to play by Mike’s rules.
“In a perfect world, she’ll be able to also stick to her moral compass, but that’s not an imperative,” Edie Falco told USA Today of her conflict with McLusky throughout the season. “I think she’s known for getting done what is asked of her, and I don’t know that she’s come against such a complicated, worthy adversary before, who really is presenting situations she hasn’t been confronted with before.”
Hugh Dillon as Ian
Hugh Dillon will return as Lt. Ian Ferguson in Mayor of Kingstown Season 4, the determined detective and ally to Mike. With all that’s likely to unfold in the next installment, it’s safe to say he’ll have his hands full aiding Mike in what’s next.
Taylor Handley as Kyle McLusky
Taylor Handley returns as Kyle, Mike’s brother, and in the upcoming season, he’s imprisoned for shooting Sawyer—and life inside the prison walls isn’t exactly a haven.
Tobi Bamtefa as Bunny
Bunny, a drug dealer and leader of the Crips, will also return in the show’s fourth season, and the power shifts within Kingstown could affect him as well.
Hamish Allan-Headley as Robert Sawyer
SWAT leader Robert Sawyer returns, and after Kyle shot him in season 3, tensions are only intensified.
Lennie James as Frank Moses
Lennie James is another one of the new cast members joining this season of Mayor of Kingstown, and he steps onto the scene as a gangster from Detroit, also likely to shake things up for Mike.
Laura Benanti as Cindy Stephens
Laura Benanti will join the cast as a new correctional officer at the prison.
Derek Webster as Stevie
