Within this next installment, viewers can expect to see the group tackle a series of puzzling scenarios such as a fatal case involving the mayor of their town and an unsettling situation in which a celebrity chef is found dead. Things get even more complicated for this crew when Becks herself is targeted as a suspect in one of their cases.
Jo Martin, who plays Suzie, opened up in conversation with Freesat about Season 3. “Let’s go back to Season 1, you had these three strangers who didn’t know each other, suddenly pulled together because of murderers and they start forming a friendship,” she explained.
“My character was thinking, I can’t be an amateur sleuth! I’m a mum and a dog walker; I know nothing of this world and these people are alien to me. But slowly and surely, she has grappled with it. And now, we are like an absolute trio. We trust each other, know each other and know each other’s strengths and weaknesses. The humor is humorous and there’s a lot more humor in Season 3 because there’s a lot more play and banter as we feel safe. I know this is cliché, but we’re a family now, and Suzie’s found her feet and confidence.”

The third season of The Marlow Murder Club sees the return of Cara Horgan as Becks, Jo Martin as Suzie, Samantha Bond as Judith and Natalie Dew as DCI Tanika Malik.
