Get Free Tickets to ‘The Voice’ Live Tapings—Here’s the Simple Trick that Actually Works
Score free seats to TV's hottest singing competition—it's way easier than you'd expect!
Season 28 of The Voice has officially begun, as contestants and coaches alike battle it out to find the voice that can win it all. Coaches Niall Horan, Michael Bublé, Reba McEntire and Snoop Dogg are pulling out all of the stops to build the best team for themselves—including handing out personalized gear and singing duets with artists.
But as you watch your favorite musicians and new talent from your couch, you should know, there is a way to attend a live taping of the show and witness all of that magic in real life. If you live in California or don’t mind a little adventure, you can score tickets to see The Voice live—and the best part? They’re completely free!
The simple steps to score your free tickets
Getting tickets for a live taping of The Voice is surprisingly simple—and it won’t cost you a penny. While tapings are free to attend, space is limited so it is a luck of the draw. But if you don’t win them the first time, you can just keep trying!
To get tickets, you must head to 1iota.com where you can see the schedule of live tapings available to attend. If you’re interested in registering for tickets, you must first create an account for the website so that you can access your tickets later if you are selected.
Once you have registered, you can select the show you want to attend and click “Request Tickets.” Next, select your group size (one or two people) and share why you love The Voice. Just a brief description will do, that explains why you are such an avid fan and why you should be able to attend a taping.
Where Is ‘The Voice’ taped?

The live and pre-recorded shows that you watch on your television weekly are taped on a soundstage. The show uses Universal Studios Hollywood in Universal City, California. They film specifically on Stage 12, which is where coaches, contestants and the audience will gather to see the taping.
How to find out if you got picked
Once you’ve completed the registration process, the only thing you need to do is wait. You will be sent a confirmation email if you get the tickets or you will be informed of your waitlist status. You can also check the status of your tickets directly in your 1iota account, which is also where you can access your tickets.
Still waiting for tickets with the show just days away? Don’t worry—this is totally normal! The show typically sends notifications just a few days to a week before taping, so you’re right on schedule.
Note: The Voice tickets are always completely free! Never pay anyone claiming to sell tickets—that’s always a scam. The only legitimate way to get tickets is through the official 1iota website.

And The Voice isn’t the only show you can attend as a live audience member. There are plenty of shows where you can sign up for free tickets and attend a taping. Whether you enjoy the late night shows or daytime talk shows, there are plenty of opportunities for you to get an inside look.
Other shows you can apply for tickets to include The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, The Kelly Clarkson Show and The View, among others. If you’ve always wanted to be a live audience member at one of your favorite shows, be sure to sign up today!
