While most smaller furniture will be delivered just like
normal items, heavy or oversized goods may be delivered by a freight company
for an added surcharge. The freight company will contact you ahead of arrival
to schedule a date and time to drop your item off.
You’ll want to inquire if your particular purchase includes inside delivery, or if goods will be dropped off at your front door (or, If you live in an apartment or condo building, your main entrance). Should you need help getting your item inside, you can may be charged additional fees.
For extra assistance, you can also take advantage of Walmart’s partnership with service-based company Handy, which will come to your home to assemble your larger furniture items or aid with the installation of more complex items, such as TV mounts.
