It’s that time of year when we love digging into everything that’s “altogether ooky,” and who better to celebrate all that kooky than The Addams Family? The original Addams Family — consisting of characters Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester, Lurch, Grandmama, Wednesday and Pugsley Addams — is indeed a creepy, spooky, and altogether ooky clan that has delighted audiences for almost six decades. There have been three TV shows featuring The Addams Family: The original series that ran from 1964-1966, a cartoon version that ran from 1992-1993, and most recently, the hit Netflix show Wednesday. There were also multiple movies: The Addams Family in 1991, followed by The Addams Family Values in 1993, The Addams Family Reunion in 1998, and ending with the cartoon duo The Addams Family in 2019, and The Addams Family 2 in 2021.

Or that if the series had aired in color, their dark lifestyle would have appeared a lot less bleak?
