Editor’s Review: “This is my first E-bike, and I’m so happy it’s easy to use. The bike is a sturdy 65 pounds and was a little awkward to get out of the box, but it comes almost completely assembled. All I had to do was drop in the handlebars, and pop open the bike (it comes folded), which took me about five minutes. A screwdriver, Allen key, and standard wrench are the only tools I needed, and they were just used for tweaking the LCD screen, control pad, and gear shifters. I recommend watching the “Your First Ride” video on the Lectric website.

When I took my first ride, I quickly became accustomed to using the motor. The right handlebar is the throttle, but I prefer to use the pedal assist, which gives me an automatic boost while pedaling, so I can keep up with my speedy kids. There is also a cruise control if I want to set my speed for longer rides, and the LCD screen kept track of my speed and distance. I’m not an experienced cyclist, so I was surprised how quickly I caught on to all of this, and how safe I felt riding trails. I love the wide tires, sturdy frame, and that the seat and handlebars adjust for any height. The bike is super easy to fold on my own and fits in my car — that alone is reason enough to love it!

I would absolutely recommend the Lectric E-bike for beginners and advanced cyclists. Not only is it super affordable compared to other models, but it really is portable and simple to use from the start.This would be a great bike for older people as well, as it’s sturdy without being huge. Editor’s review: Electric bikes are awesome, but I’m not a huge fan of the whole putting one together process. If this resonates with you the Gocycle GF 4 is really going to make you happy. It comes assembled inside the box, and there are just a few things you have to snap into place. It seriously took less than five minutes to complete. You can’t ask for anything more. Another selling point for this slim bike is how light it is. Although I wouldn’t call myself weak, I’m no Hercules either, and the idea of carrying 50 plus pounds in the heat to wherever makes me see a lot of sweat in my future. If I’m biking for exercise that’s not a problem. However, ebikes are also a good swap for your car, and I don’t want to show up to lunch with my friends super sweaty. This bike is so easy to lift! Anyone could handle it, and it’s not bulky at all, making it perfect if you need to carry it on a train or bus. The 500 watt motor makes the bike powerful, but the handling is intuitive, offering a sleek and adaptable ride. If you’ve ever fantasized about riding a motorcycle but safety was an issue, this may be the next best thing — just don’t forget your helmet!
