Air-Fried Mozzarella Balls

Ingredients
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup yellow cornmeal
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- ½ tsp. paprika
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. pepper
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cherry-size (Ciliegine) mozzarella balls
Instructions
- In medium bowl, combine 1 cup flour with cornmeal, garlic, paprika, salt and pepper. Place remaining flour and eggs in separate bowls. Coat mozzarella balls in flour shaking off excess; dip in egg, then cornmeal mixture. Repeat breading process twice. Transfer coated balls to plate; cover and freeze 4 hrs. or up to overnight.
- Place crisper plate in 5.5-qt. air-fryer basket; coat with cooking spray. Place basket in air fryer; heat to 360°F. In batches, place balls in single layer in air-fryer basket and coat generously with cooking spray. Air-fry until golden and mozzarella is molten, 7 min.
