Easy Brown Sugar Baby Back Ribs Recipe Is Fall-Off-the-Bone Delicious

Grilled to perfection, these ribs are even tastier slathered with our homemade barbecue sauce

Barbecued ribs is one of those dishes I can’t get enough of. In the summertime, it’s one of my favorite treats. I even enjoy debating with friends about the best way to make ribs — there are a lot of strong opinions about that! Personally, I like to coat them with a dry rub and then slather them in sauce for double the flavor. I mean, honestly, is there anything better?!

But making ribs can involve a lot of time-consuming prep. And when you’re having a cookout you want a dish you can pull together fast. That’s what inspired this easy Brown Sugar Baby Back Ribs recipe. The prep takes just 20 minutes. The ribs spend most of the time cooking on the grill — giving you plenty of time to whip up a mac ‘n’ cheese side dish. The meat turns out so tender, it practically melts in your mouth! And the flavor is insanely delicious. Give it a try and leave us a comment below.

• Dividing evenly, sprinkle seasoning rub over both sides of each rack of ribs. Wrap each rack in piece of heavy-duty foil. Let stand 1 hr. for seasoning to soak in.

Meanwhile, in pot, combine ketchup, Worcestershire, brown sugar, chili powder, garlic powder, oregano and Tabasco with ½ cup water; over medium heat, bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low; cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened, 20–30 min.

Prepare grill for medium indirect-heat cooking. Grill ribs in foil 1½ hrs., flipping once. Carefully remove from grill. Unwrap ribs; drain off juices. Return ribs to grill; grill until very tender, brushing frequently with half of sauce, 20–30 min. Serve with remaining sauce on the side.
