Fresh and Easy Spicy Coleslaw Recipe Speeds to the Table in Minutes
With summer fast approaching, here at Woman’s World, we can’t wait for all those picnics and backyard barbecues! And coleslaw is the quintessential side dish. It’s easy to prepare and, best of all, there’s no need to heat up the kitchen to whip up a batch. Our Spicy Coleslaw recipe starts with red and green cabbage plus scallions for a colorful dish that is hard to resist.
To make the dressing, we mix mayonnaise with sour cream and lemon juice to add extra tang. Then, for a spicy-sweet kick, stir in a dash of Tabasco and sugar. Next, we thinly slice the cabbage, but to save time, you can sub in store-bought. Now mix the dressing with the veggies. That’s all there is to it! Even better, you can make the slaw a day ahead, cover and refrigerate — it gets even better the longer it marinates. It’s the only slaw recipe you’ll ever need.
