These crusty subs stuffed with tender seasoned sirloin and chunky cheese go from prep to plate in just half an hour
For me, there’s nothing better than sinking your teeth into a big sandwich for lunch. But sometimes I get a little tired of the same old Italian sub or tuna salad on toast. So, when our test kitchen pros came up with this Steak & Blue Cheese Sandwiches recipe, I was definitely tempted to try it. First of all, the flavor combination can’t be beat. And best of all, it’s ready to eat in just 30 minutes.
The meat is seasoned to perfection with dried rosemary, garlic powder, salt and pepper. We pan-sear sirloin to juicy medium-rare but, you can adjust the cooking time to achieve your desired doneness. Serve it up on crusty French bread spread with bottled dressing. Then for even more tangy goodness, top it off with blue cheese crumbles. And baby greens add just the right amount of freshness. Cook along with our video and watch how easy it is, then leave us a comment.
