With the rise of Christian TV shows—like The Chosen and House of David, The Faithful is the next most anticipated series of 2026. This six-episode, faith-based series tells the story of the Bible’s book of Genesis. What sets it apart is that the story unfolds through the viewpoints of five unforgettable women: Sarah, her servant Hagar, Sarah’s great‑niece Rebekah, and Rebekah’s nieces Leah and Rachel.

Meet ‘The Faithful’ cast

The heartfelt drama is told in two parts as each woman’s choices impact generations that follow. The first part focuses on Sarah, the beloved matriarch who struggles with infertility and makes a fateful decision to involve her servant, Hagar (played by Natacha Karam).

Actress Minnie Driver, 55, brings depth and grace to the role of Sarah, a woman torn between faith and fear. Minnie is no stranger to emotional storytelling — fans may recognize her from Good Will Hunting, Speechless, and Modern Love.

Jeffrey Donovan stars opposite her as Abraham, the man caught between a divine promise and the everyday weight of family life. Known for his role on Burn Notice, Jeffrey brings a quiet intensity to this spiritual patriarch. And as Hagar, actress Natacha Karam (9-1-1: Lone Star) portrays the resilience of a woman caught in an impossible situation but determined to find her place.

Part 2 of ‘The Faithful’

The second part of The Faithful shifts the focus to Rebekah, Sarah’s great-niece, played by Alexa Davalos (FBI: Most Wanted, The Man in the High Castle). Rebekah’s courage is tested when she chooses a path that affects not just her future, but the lives of her twin sons — Jacob and Esau — played by Tom Payne (The Walking Dead) and Ben Robson (Animal Kingdom), with Tom Mison (Sleepy Hollow) as Isaac.
