I must confess: I’m not a huge fan of the cold weather. We haven’t even entered the winter months yet, and already I’m layering up and my gloves are at the ready. But even though I'm dreading this season, I do always look forward to sipping on a nice hot cup of tea when the temperatures drop.
Not only is tea deliciously warming to my insides and chilly fingers, I can also revel in all the good things it is doing for my body. Tea is one of nature’s most valuable health-boosters, and during this season, I like to take advantage. Each herbal brew offers different benefits for the mind and body, and when it’s cold and flu season, I tend to choose teas that will help strengthen my immunity and help me feel calm, warm, and toasty.
