Spicy-Sweet Chicken Wings
A touch of honey in the glaze is the perfect complement to the chili sauce on these crispy Asian-inspired.

Ingredients
- ¾ cup chili sauce, such as Heinz
- ⅓ cup honey
- 3 Tbs. apple cider vinegar
- 3 Tbs. cayenne pepper sauce
- ½ tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. pepper
- 3 lbs. chicken wing sections, tips discarded
- 1 scallion, green part only, sliced
- hot chili pepper, sliced
Instructions
- Coat 6-qt. slow cooker with cooking spray. In medium bowl, combine chili sauce, honey, vinegar, cayenne pepper sauce and pepper flakes. Reserve ¾ cup sauce.
- In bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, salt and pepper; add wings. Toss until coated, shaking off excess. Dip wings in remaining sauce mixture. Transfer to bottom of slow cooker. Cover; cook on low until cooked through, 3–3½ hrs.
- Position oven rack 6″ from heat source. Heat broiler. Line rimmed baking sheet with foil; coat with cooking spray. Using slotted spoon, remove wings from slow cooker; transfer to baking sheet. Brush with ¼ cup reserved sauce mixture. Broil until lightly browned, 3–4 min. Transfer to serving plate. Top with scallion and chili pepper. Serve with remaining sauce mixture.
