Easy Tex-Mex Rotini Recipe Is a Spicy Spin on a Classic Favorite

Bolognese is an Italian meat-based pasta dish. Traditionally the sauce is cooked low and slow for several hours. My grandmother often made this delight on Sundays and special occasions. I can still remember the rich aroma while it simmered. So delicious! But no one has time to wait that long on a weeknight (or any night)! That’s what inspired this Tex-Mex Rotini recipe. It’s preps in practically no time. Plus, we give it a fun South-of-the-Border twist.

We start by browning lean ground turkey instead of beef. Then we stir in convenient jarred sauce. Now for the kicker — add a can of diced tomatoes with green chilis! This time-saver is an easy way to add fast flavor. The sauce comes together in just 30 minutes. Best of all, it only tastes like you’ve been slaving over the stove for hours. Cook along with our video and watch how easy it is to whip up. Then, leave us a comment.
