Meet the Hunky Cast of ‘Marshals’—the Cowboy’s Stealing Hearts on Taylor Sheridan’s ‘Yellowstone’ Spinoff
From Luke Grimes to Logan Marshall-Green, meet the charmers of the new Kayce Dutton-led TV show
Fans of Yellowstone know that the hit Taylor Sheridan neo-Western was chock full of hunky cowboys—one of them being none other than Kayce Dutton, played by Luke Grimes. Now, with Luke Grimes leading the way in his own spinoff series, Marshals, as the beloved Dutton son yet again, it doesn’t come as much of a surprise that he’s bringing the same charm he did to the original series—alongside a few other fellas that are already proving to steal hearts. While there might not be another Kayce Dutton out there and Luke Grimes is happy to bring this leading man to life, that doesn’t mean there aren’t a few others making themselves known on Marshals. Here, check out the hunkiest charmers part of the cast of Marshals.
Luke Grimes as Kayce Dutton

Luke Grimes is back and better than ever as he leads the way as Kayce, though our heart breaks for him as he mourns the loss of his wife, Monica. “When he loses Monica, there is no other choice but to completely change his life and his path,” Grimes told The Wrap. “Because everything about that ranch now, everything about that house, everything’s just going to remind him of her. Joining this team is the only choice to get him out of his head and out of this sorrow.”
While we’ve only seen him shine in the show’s first episode thus far, it’s clear that there’s a lot on the horizon for this broody Navy SEAL turned cowboy turned U.S. Marshal. Though time has passed since we last saw him bring his Yellowstone character to life, it’s clear he hasn’t lost that Kayce charm that’s made him a fan favorite.
Logan Marshall-Green as Pete Calvin

Logan Marshall-Green’s Pete “Cal” Calvin was the first new character we were introduced to in the series, and we’re anticipating there’s a lot in store for him. A former Navy SEAL who fought alongside Kayce, these two have a deep history, hence his desire for Kayce to join him as a U.S. Marshal. “My journey is one of the vet,” he shared with Variety. “It’s one of the reasons I wanted to play this guy. I have a deep respect for soldiers, especially veterans. When they come home, they’re somewhat lost, not just externally, but internally. The depths that they have to go to right their ships…some of them make it, some of them don’t.” He continues, “So he’s got a lot going on, not just trying to refine his brotherhood with Kayce.”
Tatanka Means as Miles

Tatanka Means stars as Miles, another member of Pete’s U.S. Marshals team. Coming from Broken Rock Reservation, he offers a unique perspective to the crew, and we’re looking forward to seeing where this season takes him.
Gil Birmingham as Thomas Rainwater

Fans were happy to see Gil Birmingham reprising his role in Marshals, despite his character enduring a violent start as he was injured during an explosion set off at a protest. That being said, we’re hoping the remainder of the season is a bit more peaceful for him—though in the Yellowstone universe, that isn’t always likely.
Mo Brings Plenty as Mo

Though he didn’t make a major appearance in the debut episode, Mo, Rainwater’s right-hand man, is another character fans were happy to see return.
Riley Green as Garrett

While country musician Riley Green didn’t make his debut in the first episode of Marshals, it’s been confirmed that he will play a part in the upcoming season as Garrett, a former Navy SEAL with demons he must confront. We can’t wait to get to know this hunky country crooner in his acting debut!
With this incredible lineup of talented, charming actors bringing these complex characters to life, Marshals is shaping up to be the next must-watch series in the Yellowstone universe. Whether you’re tuning in for Luke Grimes’ return as Kayce or falling for the new faces joining the team, one thing’s for sure—there’s plenty of cowboy charm to go around.
