Spooky Eye Cookies
Chocolate and peanut butter are the perfect combination in these from-scratch treats that are sure to disappear fast.

Ingredients
- 1¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ¼ tsp. baking soda
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- ¼ cup Reese’s Pieces candy
- ¼ cup canned chocolate frosting
- Candy eyes
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350°F. Coat 2 baking sheets with cooking spray. In medium bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt; reserve. On medium speed, beat peanut butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla until smooth. Beat in reserved flour mixture. Divide dough into 16 portions, about 2 Tbs. each. Shape into balls.
- Place dough balls 5″ apart on baking sheets; flatten into 3″ rounds. Press Reese’s Pieces into top of dough. Bake until cooked through, 7–8 min. Cool on baking sheets 5 min. Transfer from pan to racks; cool completely.
- Transfer frosting to pastry bag fitted with small round tip or to small plastic food storage bag with small hole snipped from one corner. Using dots of frosting, attach candy eyes as shown.
