And our warm Italian pasta salad recipe takes the deliciousness up a notch because you serve it warm, not cold. That means all the flavors really meld together and intensify. For a little extra heat, we sprinkle on a dash of red pepper flakes, which gives it just the right amount of zing. It’s so good! Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pasta, such as rotini
  • 1 lb. zucchini, quartered lengthwise, cut crosswise into ½”-thick slices
  • 1 (1pt.) cont, grape tomatoes, quartered
  • 1 (6oz.) can pitted black olives, drained
  • 1/2 cup olive-oil-and-vinegar salad dressing
  • 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes, optional
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Cook pasta according to package directions, adding zucchini during last 2-3 min. of cooking time. Drain; transfer to large bowl.  

Add tomatoes, olives, dressing, and pepper flakes to pasta mixture; toss. Gently stir in cheese. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
