Garlic Balsamic Sweet Potato Fries

These oven-baked wedges have all the flavor but just a fraction of the fat of the deep-fried version.

  • 4 large sweet potatoes (about 2 Ibs.), peeled, cut into 1″-thick fries
  • 3 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • ½  tsp. ground cumin
  • ½  tsp. paprika
  • 1 Tbs. white balsamic vinegar


  1. Heat oven to 400°F. Coat large rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. In large bowl, toss potatoes with oil, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, ½  tsp. salt and ¼  tsp. pepper.
    Transfer potatoes to baking sheet; Spread out in single layer. Bake, turning occasionally, until tender and golden brown, about 30 min.
  3. Transfer to napkin-lined serving bowl; drizzle with balsamic vinegar.
