Cook Time

Ingredients

  • for frying
  • 2 frozen monster tots (hash brown patties)
  • 3 slices American cheese
  • cooked until crispy

Instructions

In large skillet heat oil over medium heat. Add monster tots; cook on one side until lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Using spatula, gently flip tots; cook on second side until darker brown, about 5 minutes.

Turn heat down to low. Flip one of monster tots so darker brown side is facing up. Top with 2 slices cheese, then bacon and remaining slice of cheese. Place second tot on top, browner side down. Press gently.

Cover sandwich; cook until cheese has softened, about 1 minute. Gently flip sandwich with spatula. Cover; cook until cheese has melted, about 1 minute. Remove sandwich from skillet; slice in half before serving.
